Expanders 

 

Point Expansions Modules (SNAPP)
Simply interconnect via the RS-485 module bus to expand monitored input points beyond the base amount provided on the control panel. Provides 8 & 16 Inputs and 2 & 8 open collector Outputs.

Includes an on board LED point annunciation to provide visual feedback on the state of the system or add output points. Provides 8 and 16 Inputs and 10 & 16 open collector Outputs, 9 Annunciation LEDs.

  • Customisable circuit supervision on all inputs allows virtually any resistor value and resistor configuration to be used for circuit supervision.
  • 2 outputs are also available.
  • Diagnostics such as resistance value, circuit condition can be performed on inputs.
  • Metal enclosure allows for two more VBUS modules to be connected.

VBUS

VBUS is an internal communication bus designed to work with modules that support it. The VBUS is not intended for external use and must be used within a protected enclosure. A number of VBUS modules can be connected together within an enclosure.

VBUS modules communicate with the main controller using the Module Bus (SNAPP) and with each other using the VBUS.

VBUS modules allow the system to be expanded without adding modules on the main Module Bus (SNAPP).
